As you are reading this, you’re probably wondering why I started this blog. Well, I’ve been passionate about writing all of my life. When I was seven, we would create short little books in school. (We’d even illustrate them too.)

My blog is named “Youth Mystique” because I wanted to focus on issues and interests of the younger generation. I also chose the name because I thought it was artistic and sometimes young people can be a mystery to the older generation. Face it, someone who is 40 may not know how it feels to not be able to sign online or how to work an I-Pod. Then again, maybe they do.

I wanted to focus my blog and engage readers who are 15-28. I am 24 and I’m not too far off from those teenage years. Feels like I was 17 just the other day. I’m also slowly approaching 25.

I hope to connect with young readers by providing stories from when I was growing up and my opinions on youth. I hope that you find my blog entertaining.
